19 March 2012:"Rise & Fall", Gillian's latest feature script had it's first reading. The script has already had interest from directors and production companies so more news to follow.

10 March 2012:Gillian has now completed her filming on "Confine". The film stars Daisy Lowe, Eliza Bennett and Alfie Allen. More news to come on this exciting new project.

01 February 2012: Gillian's latest project has just been announced in Screen Daily. "Confine" will star Daisy Lowe, Alfie Allen and Eliza Bennett. Tobias Tobbell has written the script and will direct the film about a former model (Lowe) who has become agrophobic and is held hostage by a sociopath who embroils her boyfriend into the plan. 27 January 2012: The Urge, the new short film starring Gillian MacGregor has won Best in Category and Best Screenplay awards at the Mountain Film Festival in California. You can watch the trailer here!

26 January 2012: Hit Girls is featured in the final issue of Impact: The Global Action Entertainment Magazine. The magazine features a 4-page article and interviews with Gillian, plus fellow Hit Girl, Rosie Fellner, director Adrian Vitoria and actor/fight choreographer, Joey Ansah. 9 January 2012: Gillian has started filming a lead role in the new feature film, The Quiet One. The story is under wraps right now but the film is a gritty revenge thriller and is currently filming in Birmingham, West Midlands. More news will be available soon...

15 December 2011: A Lonely Place to Die has reached an impressive number 32 in Total Film’s Best Death Scenes of 2011! After a successful theatrical run, the film is now available to pre-order on Blu-ray and DVD.

10 December 2011: Gillian played a role in a new comedy sketch called Loads of My Mates Are... which is set to be part of a new comedy series. The sketch is currently available to view here.

7 December 2011: Gillian attended an advanced screening of the forthcoming Best Laid Plans starring Stephen Graham (This is England) and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (The Thing). The film is due for release next year.

30 November 2011: Gillian took to the stage alongside Kele Le Roc in Burlexe at The Shadow Lounge in London. The show celebrates the stories of the women of Burlesque and played to a full house, earning rave reviews. The show was so successful; more dates are planned for 2012! Stay tuned for more...

28 November 2011: Gillian has finished shooting her latest film, Across the River. She co-stars alongside Keir Charles (Love Actually, The Green Wing) and Elizabeth Healey (The Hive, Waking the Dead). The film is due for release in 2012.

17 November 2011: Gillian attended the Future 100 Awards in London along with Ninety Eight Percent director, Frank McGowan. Bad Pony Media, the production company behind the new series, were named one of the 100 most promising new ventures.

8 November 2011: A Lonely Place to Die has won Best Action Film, Best Cinematography and Most Thrilling Film at the After Dark Film Festival in Toronto.

1 November 2011: Julian Gilbey's A Lonely Place to Die is released in US cinemas this month.

26 October 2011: Following a successful theatrical release in the UK, A Lonely Place to Die will be released on 26th December 2011 on Blu-ray and DVD.

19 October 2011: Hit Girls, the action packed short film has been released online. The film stars Gillian MacGregor, Rosie Fellner and Joey Ansah and follows a pair of female assassins who keep killing each other’s boyfriends. Watch the film here.

15 October 2011: Gillian is currently rehearsing for Burlexe, a new theatrical production celebrating the stories of the ladies of burlesque. The show will take place on 30 November 2011 at The Shadow Lounge in London.

30 September 2011: Gillian attended the premiere of Upsomene-677 at Raindance Film Festival in London.

28 September 2011: Gillian visited friends on the set of the forthcoming psychological thriller, Welcome to Leathermill, which was filming in West Sussex. The film is due for release next year.

22 September 2011: Gillian attended the premiere of The Strange Death of Harry Stanley in London. This critically acclaimed short film stars Forbes Kb (Harry Brown, Game of Thrones).

9 September 2011: BAFTA Nominated director, Julian Gilbey’s film, A Lonely Place to Die, is released nationwide in the UK. Gillian plays a supporting role opposite Melissa George, Ed Speleers and Eamonn Walker.

7 September 2011: Gillian has completed performing motion capture for the highly anticipated video game, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, from Ubisoft.

2 September 2011: Gillian is celebrating her victory at Model Fight Night. Gillian beat Tori Robbins after 3 rounds of boxing and won by unanimous decision of the judges. The boxing event, in aid of The Katie Piper Foundation, took place at the HMV Forum in London.

29 August 2011: Gillian attended the premiere of A Lonely Place to Die at FrightFest 2011 in London. The film was very well received and also featured a Q&A with director, Julian Gilbey.

15 August 2011: Gillian is currently filming motion capture for a highly anticipated new video game. More news will be announced soon.

31 July 2011: The Model Fight Night documentary continues following the girls as they train towards their fight night on 1 September. They have just finished filming the girls as they are put through their paces at an intensive residential bootcamp.  Gillian will feature heavily in the documentary and the film will be shown on Sky and available on DVD later in the year.

9 July 2011: Following her team’s successful submission as the Sci-Fi London Film Challenge, the short film, Magenta Edge, was screened at BFI in London.

30 June 2011: Gillian attended an exclusive, private screening of A Lonely Place to Die at BFI in London. Gillian plays a supporting role and the film will be released theatrically later in the year.

12 June 2011: Gillian attended the premiere of British horror film, Don’t Let Him In, at BAFTA in London.

3 June 2011: The Model Fight Night calendar shoot has just taken place with 12 fighters participating. The calendar will go on sale soon ahead of the main event at the HMV Forum in London on 1st September, with all proceeds going to charity.  The calendar was captured by celebrity photographer Alan Strutt and the shoot will be featured in the Model Fight Night 2011 documentary.

20 May 2011: Gillian is currently busy training for her boxing match at Model Fight Night 2011. The event will take place on 1st September.

9 April 2011: Gillian visited friends on the set of The Knot, starring Noel Clarke and Mena Suvari. The film will be released in 2012.

3 April 2011: Gillian participated in the Sci-Fi London Film Challenge. Along with her team, they shot a short film titled: Magenta Edge.

11 March 2011: Gillian attended the Model Fight Night launch party at Boheme along with event organiser, Monica Harris, and the other challengers. The headline event will take place on 1st September 2011 at the HMV Forum in London.

5 March 2011: Gillian has completed shooting the new short film, The Urge, in which she plays the lead. The film is now in post-production and more news will be available soon.

15 February 2011: It has been announced that Gillian will be participating in the Model Fight Night 2011 and taking part in her first boxing match. The event will take place on 1st September 2011 at the HMV Forum in London and all proceeds will go to The Katie Piper Foundation. Gillian will be training hard for her fight, which will also be televised on Sky later in the year.

13 February 2011: Gillian has completed acting work at the Nintendo 3DS launch events across the UK. These ‘immersive experiences’ aimed to bring fans closer to the characters of their favourite games.  Gillian appeared as Clare Redfield from the Resident Evil franchise.
